On 19th December 2024, the city of Jaipur lit up in celebration of creativity, storytelling, and community as the JPC 12th Annual Photo Exhibition opened its doors to art lovers, photography enthusiasts, and the people who make it all possible. Hosted with the kind of warmth and elegance that defines the JPC spirit, the evening marked more than just an event—it marked a milestone.
Setting the Tone – A Glorious Beginning
The evening began with tradition and symbolism, as the inaugural ceremony kicked off with a lamp-lighting ceremony—a moment of reverence and inspiration. The flickering flames of the ceremonial diyas not only brightened the venue but also reflected the passion that has illuminated JPC’s journey over the past decade and beyond.
Dignitaries, senior club members, mentors, and guests of honor gathered on stage, adding a sense of grace and gravitas to the event. With their presence, the tone was set for an evening that promised much more than just an exhibition—it promised connection, celebration, and creativity.
Ribbon Cutting & A Walk Through Visual Poetry
No exhibition truly begins until the ribbon is cut—and this year’s ribbon-cutting ceremony felt especially meaningful. As the ribbon fell, it wasn’t just an entrance to an art space—it was a gateway into the vibrant, diverse worlds created by 215 photographers.
Guests were taken on a guided tour of the exhibition, during which several participating photographers stood by their displayed works, sharing the stories, emotions, and inspiration behind each frame. The Big Reveal: JPC Look Book 2024
One of the most awaited moments of the evening was the unveiling of the JPC Look Book—a thoughtfully curated collection that brings together every photograph from the exhibition along with the profiles of the photographers behind them.
More than just a catalogue, the Look Book stands as a tribute to talent. It gives readers a glimpse into the artist’s process, their background, and their creative journey. For many first-time exhibitors, seeing their names and works in a printed publication was a proud, unforgettable moment.
The Look Book is now a keepsake—a collector’s gem that will be revisited time and again by admirers of visual art.
Calendar 2025: Wildlife Through the Lens
As the crowd continued to buzz with energy, another highlight took center stage—the launch of the JPC Calendar 2025, themed ‘Wildlife of India’. This calendar is not just a functional item or a desk accessory—it’s a celebration of India’s rich and diverse natural heritage.
Twelve months. Twelve photographs. Each one capturing a breathtaking moment in the wild—from elusive big cats to vibrant birds mid-flight, from elephants trudging through misty forests to deer bathed in morning light.
What made the launch even more special was its purpose beyond photography. Proceeds from the calendar go toward supporting wildlife conservation efforts, making each copy a contribution to preserving the subjects that inspired it.
When Artists Meet – A Hub for Ideas & Collaboration
